Volunteer opportunities
The Museum welcomes volunteers in many areas of museum operation.Volunteers help catalog artifacts; do photographic projects; help plan, research, design and install exhibits; lead walking tours on historic neighborhoods; record and transcribe oral histories; work on graphic design projects; and do general clerical work in the office.

Join the Museum Guild
The Vacaville Museum Guild was founded in 1984 as a volunteer support group of the Museum. The Guild coordinates the volunteer staffing of the Museum Gallery, provides volunteer staffing for other activities and coordinates a number of events and fund raisers to promote and support the Museum's mission.Annual events coordinated by the guild include: a Spring Garden Tour in April: a Children's Party in August; Onion Soup in the Courtyard for the Annual Christmas Open House; and a Christmas Open House Tour in December of every other year. (see Museum Calendar for specific dates). The Guild has bimonthly membership luncheon meetings and sponsors other fund raising and social events throughout the year. Membership in the Guild is open to all Museum members. The annual dues for working members is $10. Supporting membership dues are $55.
